silly me, i forgot to even give mention or supreme thanks to those killer pistols made of ebony i found at… lloyd center with mother last month. i guess they are from Bali, and the worker/artist? is paid such a fair wage i felt like a chump handing over that much cash. that’s the story anyway. and while its not mechanical, there is a tiny ping of copper in the barrel.

met this woman at the fitting for the fashion show on sunday. oh man, her stuff is so deluxe. she’s been at it forever, and upon first impression she seems like a straight-laced, lively 10th grade politics teacher nearing retirement. her site leaves a lot to be desired; the lady’s got crazy classy style.

SPECIFICALLY, take this leaded...

searching for “junk lot” on ebay summons a surprisingly large amount of quality crap. i went shopping today. these are my acquisitions. and, respectively:
i really need to start taking the estate-sale-circuit more seriously if imma get that worm.
i have the coolest job. i went to three different birthday parties today and helped girls make beaded adornment. i much prefer the 9 year olds to the 5-ers; something about self-determination. oh, and they loves them some taylor swift.
for class
i’m making a cash register out of brass in my metal arts class right now. i havent photographed any of the progress, so i’ll probably just show you when its done.
ahem. its sort of simplified. the oval contains the broke girl’s face. and the keys read: “get BrOKe”. its pretty hilarious,
Trophies
As I was walking home on Geary, I saw something shiny peering out of the bus-stop trash.
After a bit of wood-to-screw bolt maneuvering, I pried the beautiful baseball figurines off their bases, ditched the labels, and brought home some sweet trophies that will make even more delectable wearables. After a bit of soapy sanitation, of course.
